Harry Slater

Harry Slater is a visual artist, multi-instrumentalist, and lo-fi recording enthusiast hailing from Norfolk, Virginia. A pivotal member of the band Super Doppler, Harry spent his early career as a principal songwriter and arranger, touring extensively across the United States. His performances spanned intimate backyard gatherings to prestigious stages like the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.

During his whirlwind days on the road, Harry stumbled upon a free trial of Adobe Photoshop, sparking a self-taught exploration into graphic design. Initially creating flyers and merchandise for Super Doppler, his distinctive and unconventional style soon attracted commissions from other bands.

Now based in Richmond, Virginia, Harry continues to push creative boundaries in both music and art. His prolific visual work, marked by its vibrant originality, has left an indelible mark on the Virginia music scene and beyond, including his contributions to Charlie Glenn's GET REFLECTED vinyl release under Blank Verse Records.

When not immersed in creative pursuits, Harry enjoys B-horror movies, crafting model airplanes, late-night adventures, and unapologetically loud music. His life and work embody a restless curiosity and a commitment to artistic authenticity.
